Second class January 16, 2014

Tonight the students came with drawing of something they would like to paint. Holly gave suggestions for composition and then talked about how to begin a painting either by using maskoid  or masking tape if desired and then laying in a light colored wash first. Then adding dark accents either wet in wet or dry brush.
The homework is to continue to work on the painting started or try another to being to class for critique and help by Holly. We will take a hiatus and re-begin class on Feb 6th.  A potential student came by and we hope to welcome more. The students are really enjoying the class and their progress. It is wonderful to be involved in the creative process with the teacher and other students.
